Body washed up on Eastern Shore beach identified

ONANCOCK

A body that washed up on a private beach near the Chesapeake Bay last week has been identified as Robin Lamb, 56, of Onancock.

Authorities also are looking for a missing woman believed to have been on a boat with Lamb, Daria Finn, 55, of Accomack County.

The two women apparently left Dec. 15, said Sheriff Jack Robbins Jr. of Northampton County, and were headed from Onancock to Colonial Beach on the Potomac River.

Lamb's body was discovered Dec. 22 in Northampton County near the mouth of Westerhouse Creek.

Investigators did not know the identity of the body at first, but the next day her accountant reported her missing, Robbins said.
