Boy, 15, dead, second injured in Chesapeake dirt bike crash

CHESAPEAKE

A 15-year-old boy died and a second was injured in a dirt bike crash Thursday.

The two boys were riding in the 1400 block of Tuck Street without helmets shortly before 7 p.m. when they collided, said Charles Thiebaud, a police spokesman.

One boy died at the scene and the other was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with serious injuries, Thiebaud said.

No other details were released.
