A Beach woman will face trial on charges of involuntary manslaughter and malicious wounding related to the crash at Town Center that killed one pedestrian and injured another in November.
General District Judge Steven Frucci convicted Natasha Herzog, 29, of DUI and refusing to take a breath test, and he ruled during a hearing Thursday that there is enough evidence for her to be tried in Circuit Court.
Herzog was arrested and charged after a crash that involved two people trying to cross Columbus Street on Nov. 27.
One of the victims, Hunter Richardson, 23, of Suffolk, died of his injuries later at a hospital.
The other victim suffered serious injuries to her legs.
Herzog appealed the convictions on DUI and refusal to take a breath test to Circuit Court.
A Feb. 22 court date was set.
