Chesapeake, Virginia Beach to conduct swine flu vaccine clinics

Local health departments still have free vaccine for the H1N1 virus, or swine flu, available for people 6 months and older.

Chesapeake will have vaccine clinics at the following times and locations: Wednesday: 3 to 6 p.m. at Deep Creek Community Center, 2901 Margaret Booker Drive. Friday: 10 a.m. to noon at Western Branch Community Center, 4437 Western Branch Blvd. Tuesday: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Deep Creek Baptist Church, 250 Mill Creek Road. Friday, Feb. 19: 3 to 6 p.m. at Greenbrier Mall during the Red Cross Blood Drive, 1401 Greenbrier Pkwy.

Walk-in clinics are also conducted at 748 N. Battlefield Blvd. on Mondays (adults only) and Wednesdays, 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.; Tuesdays from 1 to 3:30 p.m.; and Thursdays from 1 to 6:30 p.m

Virginia Beach will have H1N1 vaccine clinics Mondays through Fridays, through Feb. 26, from 8:15 to 11:45 a.m. and from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at the Virginia Beach Department of Public Health, 4452 Corporation Lane. Clinics will also be conducted at the Indian River YMCA, 5660 Indian River Road.
