Groups rally for health care
In the wake of Gov. Bob McDonnell's call for deep cuts to state health services that would impact low income individuals, a collection of faith, labor and progressive advocacy groups gathered Thursday for federal health care reform and a restoration of state health care funding.
Here are a few images from the Thursday morning rally in front of the historic Bell Tower on Richmond Captiol Square:

State Sen. Donald McEachin, D-Henrico, said Democracy is a contact sport and urged the crowd to "contact your legislator" about proposed state health care funding cuts.
The rally drew attendees who brought signs from the faith and business communities.
