Operation Smile sent more medical teams to Haiti this week to treat earthquake survivors and deliver medical supplies.
The Norfolk-based children's charity sent three medical teams and 2-1/2 tons of medical equipment and supplies. The teams included 44 volunteers, including plastic and orthopedic surgeons, anesthesiologists, therapists, critical care nurses and technicians. The teams will travel to three locations in Haiti to treat bone fractures, give tetanus shots and provide general medical care.
One group will replace a 20-member team that Operation Smile sent to Haiti shortly after the earthquake with three tons of medical equipment and supplies. Another team will work with the Navy to treat patients aboard the hospital ship Comfort. A third team will work with the humanitarian group Partners In Health to provide surgical support in the city of Hinche.

Its time to Stop Sending Money and Aid To Haiti
It's time to stop sending money and aid to Haiti (a third world welfare country). Ten Christian Americans were arrested trying to help Haitian Orphans and they were arrested and placed in prison and have been there for over a week. The Prime Minister says they want to make an example of these Americans. The same Americans that pay taxes in which the Congressional Black Caucus wants to use to pay off their 1/2 billion dollar debt. These Americans have been in Haiti for several years assisting and caring for the orphans and they did nothing wrong. Everyone agrees they did not follow the protocol, but they were headed to Port de Prince to correct the situation when they were arrested. Our great President has done NOTHING to get them free, five days in prison and Ms. Clinton asked that they be released, but the Haitians say no. STOP SENDING ANY MORE MONEY AND AID UNTIL OUR AMERICANS ARE FREE. WAKE UP AMERICA!

country first?
Umm It has been over a month...... I think there are still people that are homeless here in OUR country.....I guess it looks better to help out third workd countries versus you OWN country.....Just like all the actresses who adopt children out of africa and wherever else angelina jolie gets her children from .. My question is what is wrong wit american oprhans? Do you think you look better going to other locales to get them? Well I guess when you can pay off the agencies it is a little easier!
