It was an interesting day at Auto Club Speedway with a lot of interesting comments from drivers. So here's Quotes of the day from the track.

# "Nope, it's an accountant.'' -- Carl Edwards on his phone ringing after his press conference Friday. He's awaiting word on when his wife will go into labor.
# "I looked at all the cameras here and thought "Danica Patrick must be here this weekend.' '' -- Jeff Gordon on the increased media attention at Auto Club Speedway.
# "I'm still amazed at the week I've had and to come here and be on the pole, I really can't believe it.'' -- Daytona 500 winner Jamie McMurray on his fantastic week.
# "I didn't feel like the way we operated at Daytona that we could win races and win championships.'' -- Matt Kenseth on why he talked to team officials about making a change that led to Todd Parrott replacing Drew Blickensderfer as crew chief.
