Amtrak says there will be some train route cancellations today because of continuing weather-related problems.

Trains heading from Newport News, Richmond and Lynchburg to Washington are canceled along with other routes, according to the Amtrak Web site. Trains 195 and 67 from Washington to Richmond and Newport News also are canceled.

The Maryland Transit Administration is also canceling some MARC train services.

There will be no service on the Camden and Brunswick lines on Monday. The transit administration says conditions are poor with multiple downed trees on those lines.
