3.13 Manny Pacquiao + Cowboys Stadium = Total Knockout

It will be the Philippines versus Ghana when Manny Pacquiao takes on Joshua Clottey, in defense of the PacMan's World Boxing Org.'s welterweight title at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas Saturday night. Seats range from $20 too $700, not including Ticketmaster processing charges, of course, in the $1.2 billion entertainment palace.

Be sure to tell Tsismis how you're watching the fight in the comments below or invite others to join in on a pay-per-view party.

Pacquiao is the five to one favorite. The aspiring congressman, Philippine postage stamp poster child and and pop singer boasts a record of 50-3-2 with 38 knockouts. The Pacquiao Express has also taken out Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto in the last two years.

Underdog Joshua Clottey a.k.a "The Grand Master" and "The Hitter" hails from Accra, Ghana, and is the younger brother of junior welterweight veteran Emmanuel "Sleek" Clottey. In the Clotteys' neighborhood in Ghana, street boxing is as natural a pasttime as a pick-up basketball game is in the States.

Clottey immigrated to the U.S. in 2003 and now lives in the Bronx. The 32 or 33-year-old's newest treasure is his current trainer, Lenny DeJesus; the Bronx locksmith and amateur boxer was Pacquiao's cut man until promoter Freddie Roach took charge. DeJesus replaced Clottey's longtime trainer seven weeks ago when trainer Godwin Kotey ran into visue issues while traveling from Ghana to the U.S.

The Grand Master is known for his durability and stamina and has never been knocked out. He touts a record of 35-3 with 21 knockouts. Clottey also recently held the International Boxing Federation Welterweight title

The 3.13 bout is a substitute for what began as super showdown between Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. Stops and starts with the fight scheduling occurred when Mayweather requested special drug testing of Pacquiao. The Pac-Man also stalled scheduling when he put in a political bid for Philippine Congress in the province of Sarangani. He has already invested $5 million in his political campaign.

In the political ring, Pacquiao will be the underdog when he opposes Roy Chiongbian, of the political family dynasty that established General Santos City. General Santos City, known locally as GenSan, is the PacMan's hometown. Known for being the tuna capital of the Philippines, GenSan is located in the south of the country, near Davao in Mindanao.

In response to Mayweather's previous requests for drug testing, opponent Clottey believes that Pacquiao is respectable fighter. The World Boxing Organization will require both fighters to undergo urine testing after the bout.
