Lohan sues E-Trade; Betty White to host SNL

UPDATE!! Lindsay Lohan is suing the financial company E-Trade, insisting that a boyfriend-stealing, "milkaholic" baby in its latest commercial -- who happens to be named Lindsay -- was modeled after her. And she wants $100 million for her pain and suffering. The New York Post has the full story. OK, so Lohan has to admit that the word  "Lindsay" itself just lends itself to a sense of resentment and hatred. Just say it with a slow growl and put some emphasis on the second syllable. Try it... See?! Cube told ya! Watch the now infamous TV ad. (Cube just can't stop laughing at how lil' Lindsay pops in at the end with "Milk-a-WHAT?!"):

Betty White, 88, has agreed to host "Saturday Night Live"! She confirmed the news at an Oscars party Sunday. NBC has yet to confirm officially but a source close to the show told Zap2it that White signed on a couple weeks ago. Sounds like the Facebook fan page worked! More than 450,000 people can't be wrong about who should host SNL! [Zap2It]

Johnny Depp and Tim Burton found a pile of money on the other side of the looking glass. "Alice in Wonderland," their update on Lewis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking Glass," had a mammoth opening weekend of $116.1 million. [AP]

A German man has been convicted of blackmailing supermodel Cindy Crawford and been sentenced to two years in jail. Edis Kayalar was found guilty of extorting money from Crawford by threatening to release a photo showing Crawford's then seven-year-old daughter gagged and tied to chair. [AP]

"Love Never Dies," the sequel to "Phantom of the Opera," opens in London today. Many "Phantom" fans have trashed the show in Internet reviews based on preview performances. [AP]

Finally, Lil Wayne began his one-year prison term yesterday. He arrived at Rikers Island today. Anyone who watches "Law & Order" knows that place is bad. [AP]

R&B singer D'Angelo was caught in New York City trying to pay $40 for sex with an undercover cop posing as a prostitute. He was arrested Saturday. [AP]

ShowBiz Minute: Lil Wayne begins 1-year jail term in New York city gun case; R&B singer D'Angelo accused of soliciting prostitute in New York; Oscars receive highest viewing figures since 2005.
