NORFOLK

A toddler from Norfolk who was reported missing Friday afternoon has been found.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children put out a flier Friday reporting Armand Braswell, who turns 2 next month, missing. He has since been found and is OK, said D’Ann Paflin, a spokeswoman for the center.

He was located Friday night in the custody of Child Protective Services, police said. No additional information was available.

Please hug this little guy.

I hope that whoever the family is that is supposed to be taking care of this little one will pull itself together enough to provide him with a stable, dependable and loving home life. So far I'm not convinced he has one. To the family: God has given you a blessing. Don't blow it.

Who's the female?

This "news" story says more by its omissions than its spase "facts". Where was he last seen? What was he wearing? Was there an Amber alert? It's now Saturday, and no one realized he was missing for a week? This looks to me like a domestic dispute that puts a little boy in the center of it all, and leaves the rest of us mystified and not wanting to get involved. I don't think he's missing; someone just doesn't know how to get him back. Let's have the truth, not one side of a family argument.

Child was in Soc Svs custody

The child apparently was "missing" only a few hours (agreed, any
time is too long!) but it was not for a week, as you said.
By the time this short article was written, he was long found,
so there was no need of knowing what he was wearing, etc.
I suspect that the parents/caretakers will have plenty of
explaining to do, and hopefully will learn something from
this experience. The article clearly was not a complete news story,
only a brief article to let interested parties know the
child was located and was ok.

Original article stated he was reported missing on Saturday

and that he was last seen on the previous Sunday. This article is the follow-up article. I stand by my comment.

typo error above - sorry

that should be "sparse", not "spase".

It would be nice if we had a dictionary on this app.
