Police are investigating the homicide early this morning of a man at the Pinedale Manor Apartments.
About 12:30 a.m., police received a call about a shooting in the 700 block of Adams Drive, they reported today. Officers and paramedics found the victim on the sidewalk with apparent gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police identified him as Quwantrell Demetrius Miles, 25, of the 500 block of Adams Drive. He’s the city’s eighth homicide victim of 2010.
