Weather: Clouds increasing, rain by Thursday

Posted to: News Weather

By Craig Moeller

A warm front slipping through the region this morning will allow high temperatures this afternoon to climb to near 70 degrees, a bit warmer inland and south.

Skies will be variably to mostly cloudy today. Moisture will sweep into the area late tonight and tomorrow giving us a good shot at showers or periods of rain.

Highs tomorrow will generally be in the mid-60s and stay close to that on Friday and Saturday. There likely will be additional scattered showers later Friday into early Saturday. Late Saturday and Sunday should be drier but there will be a low risk of showers.

By early next week, temperatures will return to normal. Highs Monday and Tuesday are expected to be in the mid to upper 50s.
