Weather: More clouds, scattered showers on way

Posted to: News Weather

By Evan Stewart

Unsettled weather will continue through the weekend and into next week as a broad area of low pressure slowly moves off the coast today.

Cloudy skies will persist with a few showers scattered through the day. High temperatures will be a little cooler than Saturday, in the upper-50s to near 60.

As the low pressure intensifies off the coast on Monday, cloudy skies will linger, especially along the coast. A chance of showers will continue and highs will be in the lower-50s. The low finally moves far enough off the coast to allow a little more sunshine on Tuesday with highs near 50.

I'll make sure to put on gloves before 'spreading'.

I think spring has already sprung

Looking out my window yesterday I saw a rather drab colored female cardinal thwarting the amorous advances of a brightly colored potential mate. She was keeping him at bay, but for how much longer?
