The slow-moving storm in the nation's heartland is going to affect us with mild, but wet weather for the next several days. Showers moved through the region this morning and more will be possible at times right on through the early part of the weekend.

Highs today will be in the mid- to upper 60s. Skies should be variably to mostly cloudy with scattered showers possible later this afternoon and evening.

Occasional showers and a stray thunderstorm will be possible tomorrow and Saturday as well, highs will be in the mid-60s. After the storm center clears the coast early Sunday, we should be drier but cooler with highs near 59. It will be partly to mostly sunny through the middle of next week with highs closer to normal, around 56.

Spring like weather

Cleaned up the old shed. Put a few bulbs in the ground.

Time for the rain to come.

I like spring.
