Two armed robbers strike Nags Head 7-Eleven

NAGS HEAD, N.C.

Two men armed with a handgun robbed a 7-Eleven early Tuesday at  Whalebone Junction in Nags Head. 

The men fled the store on foot after the robbery, which happened at about 1:20 a.m, police said, according to a Nags Head police news release. An undisclosed amount of money was taken. No injuries were reported.

Police described the first robber as a black man with a skinny build and short hair, 20 to 23 years old, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and pants.

The second robber was described as a black man, 18 to 21 years old, about 5 feet 7 inches, with a stocky build, small mustache and black dreadlocked hair. He was wearing a black oversized coat edged with light-colored fur.
