Coaching resume Clark has been the Falcons' head coach for the past eight seasons. She previously coached at Blacksburg High, was an Old Dominion assistant, and was an Olympic Development Program coach at the state and region levels.
Playing days She was a standout athlete at Kempsville and was named All-Tide water Girls Basketball Player of the Year in 1991.
Day job Biology teacher at Cox
Coaching start She got her start at soccer camps and with soccer clubs, and also directed an AAU girls basketball team with her husband.
Off-field guidance Clark is just as proud of her student-athletes' classroom performance. The average team GPA is 3.4 during her tenure.
Coaching philosophy "Average is not good enough. You have to be a well-rounded and composed person. Who you are and how you carry yourself defines you, not how many soccer games you win."
