Famed filmmaker Ken Burns debuts American Revolution documentary in Williamsburg

Because of the rich historical preservation of this community, do-director David Schmidt said, and the fact that “so much of the Revolution happened within a day’s march of Williamsburg, we filmed more on the Virginia Peninsula than anywhere else.”
