Boys soccer

#3 Landstown 3, #2 Kellam 0

Clay Newton scored twice and Darien Cox added a third goal as the Eagles sped to a 3-0 halftime lead over the Knights.

Branden Elliott had his fourth shutout for the Eagles (7-0-2, 4-0), who beat Kellam at home for the first time in program history.

Jessie Klamut scored in the 43rd minute and Rachel King had five saves as the Falcons (10-0-1, 5-0) remained unbeaten in the Beach District.

Kayela Gray scored twice in second half (4-6, 2-3 Beach District) to lift the SunDevils. Rachel Townsend had eight saves for her second district shutout.

The Bulldogs improved to 8-0 in the TCIS which guarantees them a share of regular-season title with a game remaining.
