Juvenile struck by vehicle at the Oceanfront

VIRGINIA BEACH

A 13-year-old suffered minor injuries this morning after being struck by a vehicle at the Oceanfront.

Police and paramedics responded to the intersection of 68th Street and Atlantic Avenue just before 11 a.m., said Detective John Allen, a police spokesman. They transported the juvenile to a hospital for treatment for minor injuries.

The driver stayed on the scene, and no charges have been filed, Allen said.
