Great Bridge 1, Western Branch 0
Tara Kerns scored the winning goal 15 minutes into the first half to help lift the third-seeded Wildcats into Thursday’s 5:30 p.m. Southeastern District final against host Grassfield.
Jessica Voigt had the assist for Great Bridge, which clinched an Eastern Region tournament spot.

Hannah Carlson, Melissa Dutter and Lexi Jones all converted from the spot as the No. 1 seed Grizzlies won on penalty kicks.
Keeper Caroline Casey notched a save in penalty kicks for the Grizzlies and finished with two saves in regulation. Huntyr Levine made nine saves for the Braves.
Beach District semifinals
Cox 1, Kellam 0
Jessie Klamut finished Molly Jarrett’s crossing kick in sudden-death overtime as the top-seeded Falcons (16-1-1) edged the No. 5 seed Knights to advance to Thursday’s Beach District championship game at the Sportsplex.
Cox goalie Rachel King registered the shutout, while counterpart Allyson Brown made six saves.

David Ellis scored 12 minutes in for the top-seeded Falcons, who added two goals after halftime in a Beach District semifinal at the Sportsplex.
Riley Smith recorded his second consecutive shutout in the Beach District tournament.
