N.C. man dies from May 21 motorcycle crash

KILL DEVIL HILLS, N.C.

Charges are pending after a Kill Devil Hills man died Sunday more than two weeks after he slammed into the side of a pickup truck that pulled in front of his motorcycle in Kill Devil Hills.

Victor Wilson, 33, died at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital from injuries he sustained when a pickup truck driven by John Yukish, 73, of Kitty Hawk pulled in front of Wilson’s Harley Davidson about 7:30 p.m. May 21, said Dana Harris, assistant chief with the Kill Devil Hills Police Department.

Yukish was leaving the Outer Banks Brewing Station on U.S. 158 in Kill Devil Hills, Harris said.

The investigation continues and charges are pending, Harris said.
