Try a Special Box at Blue Fin (It's Special!)

The Blue Fin Japanese Restaurant is a place that my wife and I continue to return to when we want something Asian, close to home and doesn’t break the budget.

Blue Fin has an extensive menu that includes Sushi, Sashimi, Udon, Teriyaki, Tempura and some Korean fare. For me however the exceptional attraction is the Special Box - $11.95 as featured on the cover of the menu.

My favorite Special Box is the “Monday”.

It contains:

- Miso Soup - Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura - Edamane - Avocado Roll - Volcano Roll - Chicken Teriyaki - Spicy Tuna Roll

I always fall for this one although I’m sure all the Special Boxes are equally good. The portions are well sized and I have never been able to quite finish one although I came close last night.

Blue Fin has prompt and courteous service.  It has not yet gotten crowded but I suspect it will be soon.

KYUSHU.

The oldest most authentic and best Sushi in the area.

I'm not sure...

...that I'm interested in eating the "oldest" sushi... but I know what you meant to say... Looks good. I'll be sure to visit them the next time I'm in town.
