Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick told detectives Monday that he wasn't present during a shooting early Friday after his Town Center birthday party and doesn't know who was responsible for the violence, his attorney said.
Vick made an appearance at police headquarters on Princess Anne Road for the afternoon interview, police said. During the talk, detectives confirmed he is not a suspect in the early-morning shooting that left one injured, said attorney Lawrence H. Woodward Jr.
Vick, who remains on state and federal probation from dogfighting convictions, might not be clear of trouble yet.
Guadalajara, the restaurant and nightclub that hosted Vick's 30th birthday bash Thursday night, is providing security footage to authorities who requested it to determine whether he violated any of the terms of his probation during the party, Guadalajara spokesman Allen Fabijan said. That determination is up to investigators in the federal probation office, said Officer Adam Bernstein, a police spokesman.
The NFL and the Eagles also have said they're looking into the incident.
Police have declined to release the name of the shooting victim, but Vick dogfighting co-conspirator Quanis Phillips checked into Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital on Friday morning. He was discharged around 3 p.m., Sentara spokesman Dale Gauding said.
Phillips, who also is on probation, was thrown out of the party, Woodward said. It was open to the public for a $30 ticket, party promoter JaPharrii Jones said.
The terms of Vick's and Phillips' probation prohibit them from associating with felons without permission from their probation officers. They also must inform their probation officers within 72 hours of being questioned by police.
Fabijan said Vick has attended multiple events at Guadalajara without incident. There were about 20 security guards on hand Thursday, when guests included four professional football players and Olympic gold medalist LaShawn Merritt, he said. There were no altercations during the bash, he added. "We can't do a criminal background check on all our customers and tell them they can't come in," he said. "Guadalajara could've done nothing different to prevent this from happening."
Detectives are investigating the shooting, which occurred around the corner from Guadalajara at about 2:10 a.m. One officer told Fabijan that two vehicles pulled up shortly before shots were fired, striking one person in the leg.
No arrests have been made, and police ask that anyone with information call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.

Vick left the building at 1:45 and was signing autographs for fans before he got into his black mercedes at 1:57 and left. Then at 2:00 you see every one on the sidewalk duckin and running.

I see the names of this group is getting better each day. Wasn't the Gold Medalist LaShawn Merritt just suspended for using a banned substance? I think if the Pilot is looking after the best interest of Vick, they need to see if there was anyone there that hasn't been involved in drugs, or other law infractions and use their names as reference. That is if you then find one! By the way, was the money raised for the party given to PETA?

Awaking broke, going to work, knowing you know something. Supporting someone who has done something wrong (who ever the shooter was). Careful of spreading the wrong information. Guadalajara did not make the door money. That went to the Company who rented our venue. We closed at 1:45am Mr. Vick got in his car at 2:05am drove away at 2:07am to the east on Columbus St. Shots rang out DOWN THE STREET TO THE EAST at 2:10am. Guadalajara has no idea what happened down the road. This event was after normal operating hours. We did not expect any "family' as some mentioned to walk in during a party of this nature. As normal NONE did. These events take place after the normal biz hours and are not open to the "General Public". You could not have got in without being 21, wearing all white, and having the invitation or a copy of the flier from the Promo companies social media site. The company that hosted the party provided a contract and an insurance policy. NO ONE was asked to leave Guadalajara that night by Guadalajara Staff or Security including the off duty police officers on site!! Guadalajara had no knowledge of who Mr. Phillips was/is and he was not asked to leave Guadalajara by any member of Guadalajara staff or security.

Also "it was open to the public", but that's seems to be a condridiction based on your comments.
Now WAVY TV10 claims there is a difference in Vick's statement and what the security tapes show.
