"Art Everywhere" Closes...And A Newer & Cooler Granby Street Begins
Wow! Tell me it's true: Downtown Norfolk is on its way to becoming hip, cool and bohemian! At least that's what it looked like to me a couple of weeks ago at the closing of AltDaily.com's "Art Everywhere" event.
For a millisecond I closed my eyes and thought I was in Union Square in Manhattan chillin' with the NYU peeps. There was music playing, people dancing and, of course...ART EVERYWHERE! Keep it up guys! This area NEEDS more art & culture, especially for the younger generation of Norfolkians.

The great Skye Zentz strummed her gitfiddle and led a chorus of old school folk songs.

The cupcakes made my taste buds freak out with their deliciousness.

Well-dressed hipsters were hanging out on a beautiful Norfolk evening (ok ONE well-dressed hipster, but it's VA, what can we expect?)

Errr...ummmm....yeah. These cupcakes deserve a curtain call. YUM!

Lot's more Art
There is a lot more Art and Art events around Norfolk, and we hope that the people that enjoyed Art Everywhere will support all the other Art Events in Norfolk and the surrounding area. Don't forget that one of the oldest and largest artist run events is the Ocean View Art Show. October 9 & 10 will be it's 48th year. Stockley Gardens fall Art Show is the following weekend in the Ghent area of Norfolk.
Thanks for the info! Keep it
