A man prosecutors say provided pain medications that contributed to the overdose deaths of two teens had his bond revoked Monday.
A judge ordered Jason Coker back into custody for violating the terms of his bond, according to Macie Pridgen, a spokeswoman for the commonwealth's attorney's office.
Coker faces drug charges in connection with the deaths of David Ellison, 19, and Barry Sullivan, 18.
Both were found dead on Jan. 3 with patches of the potent prescription painkillers on their shoulders.
According to prosecutors, Coker provided Ellison with the fentanyl patches. His preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 13.
His attorney did not return a call for comment Monday.
Coker's co-defendant in the case, Nabil Issa Butros, pleaded guilty to drug conspiracy last week.
