NEWPORT NEWS

Passenger traffic rose by 7.8 percent in June at the Newport News-Williamsburg International Airport.

The airport said Thursday that passenger traffic increased from 97,278 in June 2009 to 104,843 in the same period this year.

Peninsala Airport Commission Chairman Herbert H. Bateman says passenger loyalty, short security wait times and on-time flights contributed to the growth.

Both Airports Work For Me

I like both area airports and find them very easy to use.

it's better than orf!

This airport has lower fares in several instances and is more user friendly than orf. This type of increase only supports my beliefs.
