Uh, Va Pilot editors...you

Uh, Va Pilot editors...you have "Norfolk"...yet the map has the BB&T on Main Street in "Suffolk". I know, I know...I'm splitting hairs. Both end w/ "folk".

Revised Map

They revised the map so it is now correct.

They've been doing that

They've been doing that frequently. Like this past weekends Hampton Pirate Festival. Now how the heck am I sailing my boat to Hampton NC.

And why the heck did this

And why the heck did this just go to the top of the post where no one will understand? I replied to NN_Native. ARRGH!

Suicide at the bank

Just wondering what the circumstances were that caused this person to commit suicide and could the bank have prevented it? Will this trend continue as more and more people who have lost their jobs in this recession lose their homes because they cannot pay their mortage. Would be nice if the reporter would follow this one to the end. Could be a real eye opener for people to know just how bad things are getting in America. Just sounds like an act of " last resort " born out of depression more so than a robbery gone bad.

This is an office building;

This is an office building; the victim had nothing to do with any bank. There is no "trend" or anything the bank could have done to prevent it, nor does it have anything to do with a robbery. Despite your CSI assumptions, the reason the Pilot didn't write more is that there isn't anything newsworthy to write about. Speculation, however, breeds rumors and false reports.

Inaccurate dateline & address

Why does this dateline say "NORFOLK" with the address at 500 E. Main St. when it clearly appears from the map that it's at 500 North Main St. in Suffolk? Just wonderin'.

It was in Norfolk

The map is wrong. It was the BB&T building in downtown Norfolk, 500 East Main Street.
