Suffolk couple charged with drug possession at day care

SUFFOLK

Two people who run a day care center out of their home will be charged with possessing marijuana, police said Tuesday.

Suffolk police secured warrants against Michael R. Cabrera, 26, and Angie M. Cabrera, 25, both of the 1000 block of Snead Drive, according to a city news release.

Police said they were responding to a report of a domestic disturbance there about 8 p.m. Friday when they discovered marijuana plants.

The home is also the location of a small day care. Child Protective Services is investigating.
