Elisabeth Hulette covers education in Virginia Beach and Tidewater Community College.

She came to The Virginian-Pilot in summer 2010 from The Capital newspaper in Annapolis, Md., where she covered schools in Anne Arundel County.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Classics from Bucknell University and a master’s in journalism from Columbia University.
