I like the graphics, but you're missing one important item. . .
. . . It's not "that" the wind blows, it's "what" the wind blows. Your depictions don't show the flying debris that causes a large majority of the damage in a hurricane. Windows may stand up to a 100 mph wind, but they don't do to well against a 100 mph fence post hurled by that wind.
