VIRGINIA BEACH

A Norfolk man was acquitted Monday of murder and other charges in a double shooting from December.

Steven Walton was on trial for first-degree murder, malicious wounding and two related firearms charges.

He was accused of fatally shooting Lucious Williams III and wounding Joseph Spiers on Dec. 23 in the Northridge section of Virginia Beach.

After hearing the evidence from prosecutors and defense attorneys, Circuit Judge Frederick Lowe acquitted Walton of the charges, defense attorney Michael Fasanaro said Tuesday.

Fasanaro said there was no solid proof that Walton had fired a shot. There were no witnesses to the shooting.

Ha...

Steven Walton is the most worthless human being left on this planet, w/ Marcus Cooper @ a close 2nd. He killed my little brother on his birthday and karma will settle this moment better than I ever could.

What made me the maddest was watching him look @ his handy work as they scrolled pictures and video of Lucious laying on the ground. I guess it was intruiging for him to see it all for first time, seeing as how he fled the scene promptly after. Must be nice.

It also must be nice to have enjoyed last Xmas as a free man, and not as a corpse being prepared for burial. Let' not make that a tradition, hm? A moment in my brother's (currrent) shoes might be the right dosage for him......

But then again, he's not man enough to fill them.

He Know He Did It

Actually, they never found the gun which is why the bullets were never traced back to the gun.... hmmmmm so guess he will go get it back from wherever he put it after he pulled the trigger.

oooh and fasio or whoever you are, your own witness said he saw the gun prior to the shooting then "testified" aka lied to EVERYONE in the courtroom including himself about THAT ONE, oooh and also he did say there was a gun at the beg. of the night before anything happened, and so did the other people who were there that night....

so lets give a big round of applause to the judge and the virginia beach court/justice system for letting a killer walk, prayers are with the next person and their family.......

R.I.P. Lucious, there will never be another like you!

i'm proud to be an american...

...where I am innocent until proven guilty. My heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the victim.

R.I.P. Lou

You will be missed.

wow

did he get hit gun back too?

I would hope so.

If the charges were dismissed, then he is due his gun back. Why wouldn't he, since he is not convicted?
