Two additional Old Dominion football games will be televised this season, athletic director Dr. Wood Selig announced Thursday.
The games, both at home, are Oct. 23 against Georgia State and Nov. 13 against VMI. They will be shown on Cox and The Comcast Network (TCN) throughout the East and Southeast. Kickoff times for both have been moved to 3:30 p.m. Cox will produce the games and air them locally on Cox 11.
ODU's Sept. 18 contest at home against William and Mary already had been scheduled for broadcast on Comcast Sportsnet.

Stuck
I hate to break it to you, but you are stuck with Tony. He continues to bring in revenue for his station owners so they keep him around. He works for a lower wage than other local broadcasters and is willing to do anything, anytime for the advertisers. Name another local broadcaster that is willing to do live shows from the small businesses that Tony goes to?
Don't confuse me for a Tony fan, I can't stand him either. I'm just stating the reasons why he is still around.
Got that right
The reason Tony is still "around" has more to do with what he does not eat, which is very little.
No Mercurio
Please tell me Cox will not hire Tony Mercurio to call these games. Not that I am personally concerned, as I will be trying my hardest to pick up the elusive 94.1 signal from Foreman Field. My concern is simply for those folks at home who aren't at the game.
If you're as tired of Tony's voice every day from 3pm-7pm as the rest of us, please join at.........
