A Virginia Beach man was found guilty in a double shooting the day after Christmas that left one man dead and another injured.
A jury on Monday found Jorge Loredo guilty of involuntary manslaughter and unlawful wounding. Loredo will be sentenced today.
Loredo shot and killed Florentino Martinez-Melendez and wounded Modesto Martinez-Melen dez on Dec. 26 in Trailer City on Virginia Beach Boulevard. The men were drinking beer and playing cards.
The shooting happened after a fight broke out, prosecutors said.
