Carmax seeks workers for local dealerships

CarMax Inc. announced Wednesday that it is recruiting to fill 60 positions at its used-car stores in Virginia Beach and Newport News. The hiring is part of a nationwide push to add 1,200 jobs to its dealerships for seasonal staffing needs and expansion plans. The majority of the openings are in sales and service operations, CarMax said in a news release. Both full- and part-time permanent positions are available.

Service technicians are required to have previous automotive experience.
