As the series heads to Phoenix, what will happen next?
So, after a wild weekend at Texas, now what are we going to see at Phoenix?
# Denny Hamlin leads Jimmie Johnson by 33 points in the standings with Kevin Harvick 59 back. Who comes out as the leader? Johnson has won the past three fall races at Phoenix. The last guy other than Johnson to win the fall race at Phoenix is Harvick. Johnson's career average finish at Phoenix is 4.9; Hamlin's career average finish at Phoenix is 11.6 an Harvick's career average finish is 15.0
# So, what's the impact of the pit crew swap with Jimmie Johnson's team? Will they perform better than the old group, not pitting Jeff Gordon's car? Will Gordon's car be better on pit road? If you were Chad Knaus, would you try to pit next to Denny Hamlin and put the heat on that team and some can say Hamlin did to Johnson's team last weekend at Texas?
# Will Johnson and his team blink? The 48 team is known for bouncing back when things look bleak and pulling out good finishes or getting the wins. Does this continue or does the team collapse after its pit crew swap?
# What about Kevin Harvick? With all the focus on Hamlin and Johnson, does he sneak in there and take the points lead or at least close his gap to the points leader?
# Who could play the spoiler this weekend?
# Will a Chase driver without a win this season -- Jeff Gordon, Jeff Burton, Matt Kenseth or Carl Edwards, end their winless drought this weekend?
# Are you looking forward to this weekend? Has this Chase added some excitement? If not, why not?
Gotta catch a plane. Be interested to see what you've got to say.

RE: What will happen next
The 48 team is indeed most famous for rising from the ashes to triumph over adversity, and nascar races in PHOENIX this week, perhaps that means he will gain back the point lead. That being said I think the other 4 time champion will actually win the race much to my great dismay and disappointment as I always hope that a Ford driver will turn that Phoenix Oval Blue!
I care not what happens to Harvick as long as he goes down in ignominious defeat!
I fervently hope for a second Ford victory in as many Nationwide races in a row.
Can Almirola snag another victory and forestall Bodine's inevitable capture of another Truck Series championship, I for one, hope so. Give the folks that travel to Ford Championship Weekend what they came to see.
Moses Smith will triumph as well at Phoenix in the K&N Pros Series race, I believe M. Watrip is entered in that contest too.
Bon Voyage, sir!
