'Sopranos' star to appear in Virginia Beach

Posted to: Celebrity Entertainment Military News Virginia Beach

Actor and director Michael Imperioli will sign autographs at the Oceana Navy Exchange in Virginia Beach on Saturday.

The event corresponds with this week's DVD release of "The Hungry Ghosts," which Imperioli wrote and directed.

Imperioli stars in the ABC police drama "Detroit 1-8-7" but is perhaps best known for playing Christopher Moltisanti on HBO's "The Sopranos."

He'll be at the exchange, on Tomcat Boulevard just outside Oceana Naval Air Station, from 1 to 3 p.m., the Navy said.

The event is open to the public, though a military identification card is required to make purchases.
