Tweet with us: A day in the life of Hampton Roads

Posted to: Community News Entertainment Spotlight

We all know what a special place we have to live. Now, you can help us share it – and all you need is your cell phone or computer and a Twitter account.

A few tweets throughout the day from you – and your neighbors – will help us paint a picture of a day in the life of Hampton Roads. The project starts at midnight Jan. 14 and runs until 11:59 p.m. We'd love to see your pics, too – from a stop in the supermarket, a swing at the park, a ride on the ferry, or the jam-up in the tunnel.

Be sure to use the hashtag #hrday in your tweet. (Learn about using hashtags.) Follow the conversation in the widget below. We’ll publish the most creative words and photos in late January. How tweet it is!

Here's an abbreviated recap of the morning:

A day in the life

How about a picture of the bumper of the car in front of me, while I sit in traffic.
