Fantastic Photography
The photographic works of the Pilot staff, especially Stephen Katz and Bill Tiernny, and incredible. These guys should be producing material for LIFE (if it were still around) or NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC. While the reporting in the paper is somewhat lacking, the imagery is incredible. It is no wonder that Pilot photographers consistently win top honors for their works!
Thumbs Up....
I am constantly in awe of the photography appearing in this newspaper. I think my favorite...or the one that really sticks in my head... was the picture of the woman with the red shoes waiting for her husband to come home after deployment.
Keep up the great work...you all are really quite talented.

Great pics, great composition and depth, each one fit to hang on the wall.
Ross Taylor's
front page picture on Tuesday showing the tandem sledders was a great one that really captured our snow event.
If you haven't seen it yet, you owe your"self" the laugh that comes with it.
