Jury to resume deliberations in Chesapeake slaying

Posted to: Chesapeake Crime News

A Circuit Court jury returns today to continue deliberating the fate of Keith Alan Bradshaw, accused of murder, robbery and check forgery in the December 2008 killing of a Deep Creek auto repair shop owner and sometime hunting buddy.

The jury received the case before lunch Monday after a week-long trial.

Other friends found the body of Olive Bruce "BJ" Jones Jr., 57, in his shop on South Military Highway.

Police investigated for 14 months before a grand jury indicted Bradshaw, 39, a Western Branch landscaper, in February 2010.
