While the latest storm system is now well to the northeast of our region, we will continue to see cold, windy conditions today.

As the storm rapidly intensifies off the northeast U.S. coast, winds will increase over Hampton Roads later today. High temperatures will be close to 39 degrees. West winds will blow at 10 to 20 mph with gusts as high as 35 mph.

Thursday through Saturday, the skies will be mostly sunny. It will be very cold Thursday and Friday with highs expected to stay in the mid-30s. There will be a little warm up for the weekend.

Saturday should find temps in the lower to mid-40s. Sunday's high will be around 48.

We will have another shot at rain showers late Monday into Tuesday.
