MacArthur Center and Fairy Godmothers of Virginia are encouraging high school girls with financial hardships to take advantage of gently used prom dresses, shoes, handbags and jewelry available for Prom Fair 2011.
Dresses are available for $10 and accessories for $1 to $2. The fair is open to juniors or seniors with valid student IDs, along with a female guest. An information card must be completed before entering the fair. Girls will then be accompanied by a personal shopper.
The fair will be on the mall's first level near Grand Court. The hours are 4-8 p.m. today and Friday, and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday.
