The second of four “community conversations” on the city budget will be held tonight at Mary D. Pretlow Anchor Branch Library.
The meetings will allow residents and city employees to give feedback on how to deal with a $32 million budget gap and a projected $21 million gap for the schools, according to a city news release.
The library is located at 111 W. Ocean View Ave.
The other meetings will be held at the following locations:
March 2: Campostella Elementary School, 1106 Campostella Road
March 10: Maury High School, 322 Shirley Ave.
All the meetings will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.
Comments and suggestions can be posted at the city's website through March 14. Mail-in forms also an be obtained at all city libraries, recreation centers and at City Hall and can be mailed to the Communications Department.
