Task force seeks input on Lyme disease in Virginia

Posted to: Health News Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH

A governor-appointed task force on Lyme disease will hold a public forum today from 1 to 4 p.m. at Regent University.

Task force members will hear testimony from the public about Lyme disease, a tick-borne disease. Input from the public hearings will be used, along with information from expert witnesses, to develop recommendations to the governor to help people with Lyme disease, improve diagnosis and treatment, and lower the incidence of the disease.

Tuesday’s forum will be in the Moot Court Room on the first floor of Robertson Hall.
