Miss America to visit Hampton Roads service members

The reigning Miss America, Teresa Scanlan, will visit Hampton Roads next week to meet with area service members and their families, the USO of Hampton Roads and Central Virginia announced.

On Monday, she will visit Joint Base Langley in Hampton and meet with airmen and with children at the base youth center. That evening, she will have dinner with military and family readiness groups at the Little Creek USO center in Virginia Beach.

On Tuesday, she will have breakfast with service members at the USO center at Norfolk Naval Station, then visit Norfolk International Airport for the reopening of the Armed Services YMCA and USO Center there.
