Far from home, hospital staff sees realities of Afghan war

KANDAHAR JOURNAL

The Navy-run NATO Role III Multinational Medical Unit in Kandahar, Afghanistan, is one of the most advanced of its kind in the world. Many of the doctors, nurses and other staffers there come from Portsmouth Naval Medical Center. This journal will introduce local service members who are on the front line of combat medicine.
