And in other news.... My

And in other news.... My office is holding a telecon about something, for something to hopefully resolve something.

LOL

That's almost as fun as telecons about nothing, and after 30 min, when to schedule the next telecon :)

Possibilities

Let's see, now. Maybe a marching band at each meeting? More/less fabric in the majorettes' costumes? Tempo determination? Step length? Volume of the music? All these things are of vital importance to somebody, or they wouldn't be holding a meeting, so why won't someone tell us what the meeting is about!? Inquiring minds want to know! (sorry for the plagiarism)

Perhaps the players tried to take the field, but

the Marching band refused to yeild?
Lets just see, what is revealed, the day, the school board votes.

Maybe it limits the number of people in the band

I remember at Norcom I think every student was in the marching band. It was like 2000 members. The ground would sink beneath their feet. That might be the rule. I also know that if you're gonna play in Texas, you've got to have a fiddle in the band. Maybe Virginia is adopting that rule.

for what it's worth though.

Norcom has always had a pretty sharp and impressive marching band.

HA!! You got me!!

So I Googled the notion that if you have a band in Texas, you have to have a fiddle!!

For those not in the know (like me!!) these are lyrics from a Alabama song, not legal precedent!!

one can only assume that

Cheryl Ross is either a trained or educated reporter. But did she forget the WHO/WHAT/WHERE/WHY/HOW of a story? Why is this news? What are the issues? Is there a story as to WHAT the board is voting on? Where's the rest of the story? VAP is better than this, I hope.

Agreed

Hey VP, give us some background on this.

Yeah

I was all set to see what this was about. Did something happen? What's the issue? I would think the reporter would have asked these very same questions. Otherwise, why even put this in here yet.
