Two fox attacks occurred over Memorial Day weekend in Suffolk, the first involving a man, the second involving a dog.
Around 1 a.m. Saturday, a 67-year-old man said he was sitting in a backyard on Tree Lane when a fox attacked him, biting his calf and ankle. A cat at the residence was also attacked.
Monday morning, a fox got into a fight with a dog on Bedford Place and was captured by animal control officers.
That fox was to be euthanized and tested by the health department.
