Man, dog involved in 2 fox attacks around Suffolk

Two fox attacks occurred over Memorial Day weekend in Suffolk, the first involving a man, the second involving a dog.
 
Around 1 a.m. Saturday, a 67-year-old man said he was sitting in a backyard on Tree Lane when a fox attacked him, biting his calf and ankle. A cat at the residence was also attacked.
 
Monday morning, a fox got into a fight with a dog on Bedford Place and was captured by animal control officers.
 
That fox was to be euthanized and tested by the health department.

I'd recommend the health department trap and test a few. I'd fear worse than rabies!
