Portsmouth police identify driver killed in collision

PORTSMOUTH
Horace L. Deans, 88, has been identified by police as the man killed May 17 in a collision in the 4600 block of High St.

Police say Deans, of the 100 block of East Road in Portsmouth, was driving west on High Street in a Toyota when it veered into the street's eastbound lanes and collided with another car.
The driver of the other car was not injured, according to police.
