Search suspended for man in Elizabeth River

PORTSMOUTH

The Coast Guard has suspended its search for an unidentified man who jumped into the Elizabeth River at Admirals Landing.

Officials were notified about 8 a.m. Sunday. Portsmouth and Norfolk forces and the Virginia Marine Police assisted in the search, which lasted about five hours.

Portsmouth police are investigating.
